Celebrating the rebirth of the vineyard after the Thomas Fire. With only half the vines surviving the fire, our 2018 Happy Valley Red is a true field blend with all the grapes co-fermented together in the same barrels. Made to reflect the best of the Ojai Alisal vineyard each vintage year, this medium body red, is a smooth blend of our Grenache, Syrah Mourvedre, and Malbec, with flavors of cherries, plums and blackberries, along with hints of tobacco, chocolate and leather.

  • COMPOSITION: 70% Grenache, 15% Malbec, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre
  • HARVEST: September 13 and October 11, 2018
  • AGING: 19 months in medium toast new French oak
  • ALCOHOL: 14.1%
  • BOTTLING: June 14, 2020
  • PRODUCTION: 60 cases
